22 weeks! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone so
far. Let’s hope this keeps up as the weather starts to get colder and we move
into Fall.
Overall, I’m still feeling pretty good. I went for a long (hilly)
walk yesterday and it was definitely more difficult than I anticipated. I took
my time and everything, but it really took a toll on my energy level and my
hips. That’s one thing that is starting to bother me: my hips/pelvis. I notice
when I sleep on one side for a while, I have to get up and walk around because
my hip hurts. Sleeping was really great for a while, but recently I’ve noticed
that I’m waking up about 6 times a night now. Most times, I can fall right back
asleep, but sometimes I’m not so lucky.
My little sunshines are doing awesome. The ultrasound went
well even though we had a moron for a tech. She made me nervous that Baby B
didn’t have an arm, but don’t worry, it does. Baby A weighed in at 15 oz. and
Baby B at 1 lb 1 oz!!! They are both measuring a little above average for the
week they’re in. This is great news since multiples tend to come early. Grow,
babies, grow!
I get more excited every day. I can’t believe Dennis and I are
finally going to be parents. I feel so
lucky. Dennis has been so supportive and
amazing through all of this. I feel like our relationship is the best it’s been
in years and I can’t wait to see him as a dad. I know he’d do anything for me
and he makes my heart melt all of the time. I can’t imagine how wonderful he’s
going to be with our babies that he already loves so much.
I have a doctor’s appointment next week and then the baby
shower! I will definitely be blogging after those events!
